Equipment Warranties

ANSWER

Our fitness equipment is robust and built to last with a range of warranties which cover main structural parts, paintwork, bearings and accessories. 25 years on structural parts, 5 years on paintwork, 2 years on bearings and 1 year on accessories.

ANSWER

By grouping the outdoor gym equipment into one gym zone you can create a great social gym park. This is better suited for group workouts, easier to maintain and ideal for smaller parks. Arranging the gym equipment into smaller groups around your park helps to revitalise areas of your park and encourages more timid residents to use the outdoor gym equipment. Locating the equipment along a trail offers the possibility of using the equipment as part of a jog or walk between each station.

Installation

Yes, you can purchase our equipment on a ‘supply-only’ basis. We can provide installation guides and support to help assist you with the installation process.

1.5 metres is required between each piece of outdoor gym equipment at their furthest extension or from any other object e.g bench, fence tree etc.. We can calculate the area required for your preferred selection of equipment and present this in a planned drawing.

Maintenance

ANSWER

Most of the equipment requires very little maintenance. Naturally equipment that has many moving parts needs more attention and instructions are given on purchasing these units as to what to look for and how to maintain the unit in good condition.

Every client receives a maintenance handbook that includes the maintenance information needed for each unit they have purchased. We also supply a mini-maintenance pack which contains touch-up paint and tool bits for use in regular maintenance checks.

Safety

ANSWER

Yes, the labelling on Fresh Air Fitness outdoor gym equipment is clear, easy to understand and gives guidance for different ability levels. They have also been designed to help the visually impaired. Each piece of equipment comes with its own label attached offering instructions for safe use.

Surfacing

ANSWER

No. Using our equipment as instructed, users rise less than 2m from the ground (critical fall height) and therefore no safety surfacing is required. Because of this, the outdoor gym equipment can be installed into any ground surface providing the area is level.

Our equipment can be installed into cement, tarmac and into level grass areas.

The area around the outdoor gym equipment can be finished with grass wear mats (tiles) when installed into grass. Other surfacing solutions that are used include rubber crumb (wet-pour), shredded rubber mulch, concrete or tarmac. All of these can be used when equipment is installed into grass, tarmac, or concrete.
